Opened in 2012 as Oriental Residences Bangkok, a Saffron Collection, the property quickly earned a reputation as one of the city’s most distinguished luxury residences. The hotel’s design – crafted by celebrated architect Barbara Barry – blends classic European elegance with subtle Thai warmth, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming.

It was acquired by ONYX Hospitality Group in 2012, strengthening its position as a premium destination for both long-stay and leisure travellers. By 2023, the property was formally renamed Oriental Residence Bangkok, with a major refurbishment of the rooms completed in 2025, enhancing comfort and overall quality.

Today, the residence features 145 guestrooms and suites, each appointed with marble bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, custom mattresses, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

On-site dining includes the elegant Café Claire, known for French-inspired dishes and afternoon tea; a poolside bar for relaxed bites; and the sophisticated Oriental Bar, where evening experiences are redefined.
